The Turkish Ministry of Higher Education allocates seats annually for foreign dentists to specialize in the Turkish Board of Dentistry .. The study continues for a period of 3 to 4 years according to the specialization. By the end of the program, the doctor will obtain a specialist degree in one of the following departments:
1) Mouth, Tooth and Chin Surgery .
2) Mouth, Tooth and Chin Radiology .
3) Pediatric Dentistry .
4) Endodontics .
5) Orthodontics .
6) Periodontology .
7) Prosthetic Dental Treatment .
8) Restorative Tooth Treatment .
Steps to specialize in Turkey for dentistry:
The First Step :
Preparing the required documents for the equalency.
The required documents are:
1) Bachelor's degree certified by the Ministry of foreign affairs .
2) Transcript of attested by the Foreign Ministry .
3) The secondary school certificate attested by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
4) The passport Photocopy.
5) Power of attorney for the purpose of the equivalency procedures.

Administrative procedures in the Ministry of Higher Education and in the Turkish Ministry of Health are carried out by our office
The second step :
Send the Documents to Our office in Ankara via DHL or if you are in Turkey you can leave it by hand in one of our offices in Istanbul or Ankara.
The third step :
We will submit your documents to the Turkish Ministry of Higher Education .
Review process will take from 8 to 12 Months .

The Fifth Step :
It is the passing of the STS equivalency test for dentistry, which is held in Turkey once a year in September .. The exam can be entered during the period of the year in which certificates are examined.
Dental Equivalence Exam STS - Dış hekimliği:
- The passing score is 40% .
- The exam is in Turkish
- The exam contains 120 MCQs in 150 minutes and the questions are distributed as follows:
1) anatomy 6 q
2) histology - embriyology 4 q
3) biyochimestry 6 q.
4) microbiology 6 q.
5) pathology 4 q.
6) phrmachology 4 q
7) physiology 7q
8) Prosthetic Dental Treatment 10 q.

Note :
- It is possible to enter the exam during the period of the year in which certificates are examined .. It is not required to wait until the procedures are completed.
- every 4 mistakes in the exam will be minus one .. That mean, the best thing is to leave the questions that you do not know.
The Sixth Step :
Mandatory Training in Govermental educational hospital for 6 to 9 months in different dental departments.
Note:
- After passing the equation exam and completing the procedures , you must choose 3 government universities to do the training in it and the ministry will distribute you to one of these three hospitals.
The Seventh Step :
Pass the DUS exam and you can choose to the department according to the score you got in the exam
Specialty Exam (DUS):
- The word DUS is an acronym for Diş hekimliği Uzmanlık Sınavı which means the dental specialization exam which is held every year in the month of September.
- The exam contains 120 MCQs of 150 minutes, or two and a half hours, and the questions are distributed as follows:
