Basic skills in Laparoscopic Surgery Course at Bahçeşehir University
This course contents basic knowledge and skills for performing laparoscopic surgical procedures in any discipline.
You will get information about basic laparoscopic rules and logic. Will have the opportunity to work with high quality laparoscopic surgical instruments and watching illustrated live surgeries. You will learn about dissecting, Excising, suturing and knotting techniques.
Learning Outcomes:
After attending this course you will be able to:
- Set up a stack, correctly connecting a light source and gaining a good quality image.
- Identify means of access and outline patient positioning.
- Insufflations techniques and trochar placement.
- Discuss and anticipate a range of complications, morbidities and how to deal with them.
- Key points about anesthesia in laparoscopic surgery.
- Discuss the use of laparoscopy in the diagnosis.
- Perform key laparoscopic procedures.
- Evaluate the use of various energy sources.
